The basis of travler is a RPG based around the theories and problems of time travel. Through the course of the game, the players will not only experience multiple eras of history, but variants of that history. Players actions will not only alter the lines of battle in the present, but each of the eventual possible futures.
Each game will be run in a contest like style, where at the end of the age the character who is the victor gets to choose how they want the final event to unfold. The second thing that will decide the next round is the lines of battle.
After one last week of play, everyone is retrieved and given the chance to restock from company stores, and all money on the character will be transfered into "Universal Currency", and stored. At the beginning of each age, all characters start with the equivalent of 100$, equalizing the playing field.
