The Mists is a Tactical turn based game using the Survival engine from our previous games.
Survival: The Mists pits the characters against a completely supernatural enemy, In the fictional town of Raven Rock. The game calculates in limited vision, obscuring tactics and supernatural horrors to make battle more interesting and wins more rewarding.
The characters awake one morning to find the entire town has been obscured in a thick, chocking mist. Villigers have started collecting at the town hall, and a meeting is quickly put underway to find a cure to the problem…
The technology in this game will be modern, with a few twinges of science fiction. The character will be given up to seven character classes to choose from, including police officer, fireman, doctor, etc.
The goal of the mists is to survive long enough to solve he mystery of the mists and escape. There is a possible way to win, and credits may be awarded to a players account based on the number of "points" they collect during a run.
Ever hated that your quests never seem to change the gaming world? New prestige based quests available, and randomly generated adventures that may open up new outposts on the map! Be careful though, when they fall, they're gone forever…
The player's inventory can be increased using skills gained at level up, from base 50 slots to… hundreds! No Level Cap!
On level up, the character can choose between seven different stats and over ten different skills, giving a wide range of function!
The game calculates a run as:
1. Solving the mystery and escaping.
or…
2. Dying while attempting.
If the character dies, depending on how much of the storyline they revealed, monsters they killed, etc., may still qualify for a credit award. See points calculation for more info.

Welcome to the town of Shady Acres, population 10,000. In this sleepy little mountain community, nothing ever goes wrong. There is no crime, no violence, no disorder of any sort…
You are on your way home from a business trip in the neighboring community when you are forced to stop for the night at a nearby hotel. Things don't get much better as you find that first thing in the morning your car has been damaged by hooligans, all the tires have been punctured and the windshields have been broken.
Seeing that you have no choice, you start to walk into town to find a mechanic. The road is cloaked in mist that gets deeper the closer you get to town. After a while, you pass a crudely drawn poster stating that there is a meeting in the town hall…
Stage
The player will be playing on a randomly generated 200 x 200 map. Each square will have a chance of having a house, yard, buisness, or pillar. The percentages will work as follows:
- 25% house
